Safety sight glasses made of soda lime glass are used wherever optical inspections are required at medium temperatures and alkaline conditions. Soda lime glass offers good alkali resistance (alkali class 2) and is therefore particularly suitable for environments where alkaline substances are involved.
Soda lime glass is designed for continuous operation up to 150°C. It is therefore well suited for applications with moderate thermal requirements, but without extreme temperature changes.
In addition to the standard DIN dimensions, our glasses are also available in other dimensions. Glasses up to a length of 600 mm and a thickness of 19 mm are possible in our in-house production. Please contact us for all sizes, special shapes, stepped glass or customized solutions.
